Just a note to say hello and introduce you to Master Plumber Educational Service of New Jersey. Master Plumbers has been preparing students for the New Jersey State Plumbing exam since 1986, with over 80% of the class being referrals from plumbers just like you. As you know by now, very few things in life come easily and getting your master plumbers license is no exception to the rule. It still takes hard work and the right amount of classroom hours, with knowledgeable instructors. When you are ready, we will be there for you, now and in the future.

In the near future you will be receiving advertisements from people who claim they can have you ready for the New Jersey State Plumbing exam. Others will have the nerve to call your home, trying to solicit your business.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM (exact schedule given first night of class). Three days per week for three weeks. This class will help prepare you for the New Jersey Master Plumber's licensing examination.

This course will cover the National Standard Plumbing Code plus trade-related math, isometric drawing, and more.

This course is specifically designed to help prepare you for the New Jersey Plumbing Exam. We will cover in detail all parts of the test which include trade, contracting laws, and isometric drawings. Other topics include:

In order to take the Master Plumbers Licensing Exam, you must have five consecutive years in the trade and four years of formal education. Upon completion, you then apply to the State Board of Master Plumbers; once accepted by the State Board, you are eligible to take our preparatory course.

Letter of confirmation will be mailed prior to start of class.

Depending on your needs, take one, two, or three portions listed below for a total of $495.00.

Class Schedule

Classes are held Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00pm and three Saturday classes, starting at 7:30am. (Three days per week for three weeks.)

Required Textbooks

Check with testing company, PSIexams.com, for list of reference materials as stated in Candidates Package. Illustrated edition of the National Standard Plumbing Codebook will be available on site.

From Garden State Parkway, NJ Turnpike and Route 1

Fork in ramp; keep to Left. Go under Rt. 287 and keep in right-hand lane. (There will be a sign for Rt. 527 and Easton Avenue). On Easton Ave/527 go to first traffic light and make a Right onto Cedar Grove Lane/Rt. 619.

Go five lights (Shell gas station on left) go straight. This puts you onto Amwell Road (Rt 514). Go about 2 1/2 miles and look on right side for firehouse (note blinking light). (If you go over a bridge, you have gone too far). After firehouse, make a Left onto Market Street. Take it to the end and make a Left onto Elm Street. On right look for a large white church (East Millstone United Methodist Church) and pull into the driveway, 6 Elm Street.

From Route 22 and I-78:

Take Route 287 South to exit 10. Keep Right onto Easton Avenue/Rt. 527. On Easton Avenue/Rt. 527 go to first traffic light and make a Right onto Cedar Grove Lane/Rt. 619.
